FAQ
Tree service questions in Macon and Middle Georgia
Plain answers to what people ask before calling a tree service. For anything specific to your yard, call or text 478-832-0890 for a free estimate.
Call Peter 478-832-0890How fast can you come out to look at a tree?
Call or text 478-832-0890 and Peter will tell you the earliest he can come. We do not post a fixed timeframe because it depends on the day's jobs and, after storms, on how many people have called. If a tree is on a house or blocking a driveway, say so at the start of the call.
What does the spider lift reach?
It is an 80-foot spider lift, built to reach trees that bucket trucks can't. It tracks right through garden gates and sets up on the driveway, so it suits backyards and fenced yards. Whether it fits your tree is something we confirm at the estimate.
Can you remove a tree that is over my roof or house?
Yes, roof clearance and tree removal near buildings are part of what we do. We work top down, piece by piece, so branches are lowered instead of dropped. General advice: a tree resting on a roof should be left to professionals, because cutting can shift its weight.
Can you work in a yard with a narrow gate or no driveway access?
Tight access is the reason we run the spider lift. It tracks through garden gates. Send a photo of the gate and the tree when you text 478-832-0890 and we will say whether it looks workable.
What affects the cost of tree removal?
Estimates are free, and we do not quote over the phone without seeing the job. General factors in tree work: the size and condition of the tree, how close it is to buildings and wires, how hard it is to reach, and how much cleanup is needed. We explain the job at the estimate.
Will you help with insurance paperwork after storm damage?
We can talk through what happened and the work needed so you can describe it to your insurer. General advice: photograph the damage before anything is moved and keep any written estimate. Your insurer decides what is covered, and we cannot speak for them.
A storm knocked a tree down. What should I do first?
Keep everyone clear of the tree and any wires, and call your power company about lines. Then call us at 478-832-0890. The full steps are on our emergency page.
Do you do storm cleanup?
Yes. Storm cleanup is one of our services, and it covers trees and limbs that have come down in wind or rain. Call or text 478-832-0890 to describe the damage.
What area do you cover?
